Admissions

Making an application

Children may be admitted directly into any year, from Year R through to Year 6.

We use the Local Authority (LA) admissions scheme. Although we are a Hampshire school, we are open to all children, regardless of county of residence, however the application process varies depending on where you live.

With agreement of the Local Authority, our current Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 have an Admission Limit of 30.

Full details of the admissions policy can be found by following the link for the respective schools.

If you have any questions at all, please get in touch.

Starting School

The decision as to which school your child should attend is one of the most important you can make. We are delighted that you're considering making an application for a place at The Schools of Woolton Hill.

Though a large number of pupils are from the village, a significant proportion are from Newbury and other neighbouring villages, as parents seek out a village school benefits, values and experiences.
