PTA merger, 19th Oct, 8pm

The Friends and St Thomas PTAs will be holding a joint AGM on 19th October at 8pm. Venue will be St. Thomas Infants School.

Note that this date was already set for the St. Thomas AGM. The Friends members are invited to join.
IMPORTANT: This is the second attempt to hold a Friends AGM as the first meeting on 12th October did not have enough people to form a committee.

We are therefore rescheduling to join with the St. Thomas PTA team and hope to be able to form a committee that way. We also intend to conduct the official business needed to merge the two groups under a single committee.


It is really important for your children's education and school experience that we are able to continue; failure to form a committee at this meeting will mean the Friends funds will be frozen. This will keep over £15,000 of your donations from the school. We really want you to get involved in choosing how it is best spent!

In addition if the PTA cannot continue, there will be no school discos, no Winter Wonderland and no WoolFest. Also no uniform shop, no refreshments, no leavers hoodies, no water fountains in school and no new books for the library each term.
